Lynn Wright Memorial Fund
The Lynn Wright Memorial Fund (LWMF) was established in 2005 to honour Lynn Wright. Lynn was the mother of Louise Morton, the co-founder of AEIOU, and grandmother to Andrew Morton who has autism and inspired the establishment of AEIOU Foundation.
The Lynn Wright Memorial Fund aims to provide financial support for those who would otherwise be unable to attend AEIOU. The committee hosts an annual fundraising event, where all proceeds raised are donated directly to the LWMF.
The LWMF is comprised of an independent committee that reviews all applications and advises AEIOU of the families who are eligible to receive support from the Fund. The decision of the LWMF committee is final. All parents participating in the AEIOU program are eligible to apply, although applicants must meet the following critera:
- Demonstrated financial need evidenced by appropriate documentation;
- Commitment to AEIOU's mission and values;
- Commitment to participate where possible in school activities and as a volunteer; and
- A willingness to participate in publicity for the Lynn Wright Memorial Fund
